Programs

Our OHF, non-profit organization, is dedicated to empowering women and children in communities throughout Connecticut and California through a variety of programs we offer. We offer educational workshops, through our YES (Your Empowered Self) programs that focus on skill development, personal growth and providing participants with the tools they need to thrive. We foster a sense of belonging and connection, allowing women and children to share their experiences and learn from one another. Together, we strive to create a supportive environment where everyone can flourish and achieve their full potential.​

Blanket the Children with Love and Literacy

     Blanket the Children with Love and Literacy is a passion project designed by Catherine. Born from a expressed need from early education workers for a way to involve parents reading to and helping their children develop less "screen time" habits. Included in a reusable tote bag, are new blankets (often handmade) and new or gently used age-appropriate books.
     Donations of blankets and books are greatly appreciated and can be coordinated with Catherine (860)850-0115 OR Sponsorships of $150, which includes your business logo on 100 bags, are available.  

YES! Your Empowered Self

Your Empowered Self is a blanket of workshop opportunities for women and children to learn, create and experience community interaction that facilitates personal, professional and spiritual growth. See below a short list of the programs we offer.
