About Oneida Health Foundation

 

     Oneida Health Foundation is a non-profit 501(c3) organization dedicated to providing support and resources to Women and Children who have been impacted by domestic violence, war, homelessness, job loss and disease (ie. cancer, COVID). We understand the importance of meeting basic needs and strive to create a better future for those we serve. Our programs and resources are designed to uplift our community and enhance the lives of those in need. We believe health and well-being is a human right regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation and/or socio-economic status. We are proud to be a National Organization that currently has active programs serving communities in Connecticut and California.  

Torin Lee

Founder and Co-Owner

 

Torin has over 20 years of corporate communications, change management, crisis management and leadership coaching experience across many industries: high-tech, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, education, energy, not-for-profit and state/federal government. She is the owner of Uplift Consulting (formerly TL Coaching) and Zen Events LLC.

Ms. Lee’s professional experience includes consulting for several Fortune 500 and Global 100 companies; most recently with Providence Health, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Enterprise, Pfizer Inc., and the US Government. Her expertise comprises formulating organizational communications strategies – including media relations, crisis communications, analyst relations, product launch support, developing customer relation programs, executive coaching, training, event planning and change management. Torin also served as an Associate Editor for Radiance Magazine; and is a Producer and VP of publicity and communications for Big M Entertainment Pictures – an independent film production company in Los Angeles.

She is the Co-founder and executive director of Oneida Health Foundation (www.ourohf.org)

In her leisure time, Torin enjoys spending time with her daughter, travel, reading, writing, photography, volunteering and sharing space and time with family, chosen family, friends, and soon-to-be friends.

Catherine Haugh

Program Director

Catherine Haugh has been working with Covenant to Care for Children for 16 years and presently represents the Adopt a Social Worker program as a Regional Coordinator for the Northern District of the State. Utilizing over 30 years of customer service and marketing background has enabled Catherine to develop excellent relationships and support in the community with both civic and faith-based organizations. This organization works with Social Workers around the state to help fill critical essential needs of the children in their caseloads. Catherine’s current passion project “Blanket the Children with Love and Literacy” combines her desire to help parents teach their children to read and to fill learning time with less screen time.

Utilizing her entrepreneurial and creative skills, Catherine has been creating and selling jewelry and unique gifts for 15 years. “SiS” designs presently is creating and donating bookmarks to be sold as funding for the “Blanket the Children with Love and Literacy” project. This literacy project is just one of the many projects Catherine is helping to coordinate with the Oneida Health Foundation. Together she and founder Torin Lee are working within communities to empower self esteem, leadership, literacy and more.

Catherine and her partner strive to live and encourage a holistic approach to life and loves to share her Reiki skills and other holistic modalities with women, teens and children to empower and strengthen Body Mind and Spirit.
